The Science Slam Basel 2026 takes place on Friday, 30 October 2026 at Kulturhuus Häbse!
We are looking for slammers that can explain a research topic in a fun and entertaining way in 8 minutes to a large lay audience! If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form.
We plan a Science Slam workshop around 4 week before to help you prepare your slam. We might organise another slam in the week before the Science Slam for you to get ready for the event.
Some info/tips for your slam:
- Use slides, stage props or conduct live experiments to wow the audience!
- Avoid technical jargon and complicated slides!
- Talks can be given in English, German or Swiss German.
