About

FameLab is one of the biggest science communication competitions in the world. Participants have just three minutes to win over the judges with a scientific talk that excels for its content, clarity and charisma.

The winners of the semi-final will proceed to the Swiss national final and will have the privilege to get trained by a renowned science communicator during a whole weekend of Masterclass. The grand price: Becoming the new face of science in Switzerland and participating at the FameLab International final.

For Whom

The competition is open to everyone studying or working in STEM subjects, i.e., life sciences, technology, engineering, geosciences, mathematics, physics, chemistry and social sciences. Entrants must be 18 to 35 years old and based in Switzerland.

• - Lecturers and researchers, including specialist science teachers with a science degree
• - University students in STEM fields
• - People who apply STEM subjects in industry, business, government bodies or armed forces
